Quick note: Zigbee routing no longer works in the latest update. Switch to Zigbee2MQTT instead.
alex_smith: I think is the problem is a driver conflict. Consider checking the database logs and see if what happens.

Totally agree — I had the exact problem and solved it by recreating the automation. Took me a while to locate that setting.
